DOWNLOAD Music: Agame [I Give] by Psalmos

Psalmos the Ku’se crooner has over the years not stopped at expressing her faith in God through her music. The international female gospel artiste with the mission to spread the gospel is out with two singles Both songs are from the stables of Talking Beats Records produced by Dekunle Oniyo.  One of the songs is in Igbo language while the other is in Yoruba language.

Why bring out two singles at the same time? This is what She has to say:

What is the story behind the song Agame?
Agame is an Igbo song. I am a lover of Nigerian language. Though so many people know me to be a Yoruba speaking artiste. So am just trying to let everyone know that I am a proper Nigerian, I can do songs in other languages.

Agame is an old song an igbo person taught me when I was young. Just as I remixed Ku’se, that’s what I did with Agame, its a remix of an igbo song I love.

Another thing that attracted me to the song is the meaning – I give you my all. It was easy for me to express myself through the song.

Chris Brown Says He’s Tired Of Worshipping The Devil…And God Spoke To Him

Chris Brown has said that he is tired of the devil ruining his life.
In a recent Instagram post, the award-winning singer blamed the devil for trying to ruin his life. He also talked about thoughts of suicide and claims he’s heard God speak to him for the very first time.
Here’s exactly what he wrote:
“When u tired of the fucking devil ruining your life and u hear God speak for the first time.
No one knows what I deal with on a day to day. The average man wouldn’t hesitate to blow his fucking brains out but that’s the cowards way out… Most won’t understand the genius and beauty in change and learning and the people who have devilish intentions will win in the short term. My soul will always be pure of heart.
What’s on the surface always looks like one big party but inside there is a little boy looking for help and guidance. People say “be a man”. Yeah, that’s right but it doesn’t take away any pain you really go through. I just wanna stay out the way and do music. Most importantly and great father.
I don’t have any more patience for anything that will cause me to self destruct!!”

This guy needs all our prayers and support. He was a young boy when all ‘these’ started and the devil deceived him.
Chris, the good news is your soul was already bought by the blood of Christ even before you went into any evil pact. The bible says that “even the lawful captive shall be set free.”
In Isaiah chapter 49, verses 24 & 25, the New Living Translation says:
“Who can snatch the plunder of war from the hands of a warrior? Who can demand that a tyrant let his captives go?”
“But the LORD says, “The captives of warriors will be released, and the plunder of tyrants will be retrieved. For I will fight those who fight you, and I will save your children.””

This means if your choices have put you in a bad place, when you SINCERELY ask God for help, He will come to your aid. Read Psalm 121…declaring it into your life as you wake up each morning.
David found his way back on the right path once when he felt lost. And there was one night, I had an encounter with a strange and powerful demon. The Lord whispered the same psalm into my ears to use as a weapon. Yes, I won the battle.
I’ll say a prayer for you everyday brother, and I’ll encourage others to do same. Hang in there.

Presidency, Boko Haram Reportedly Begin Negotiations

There are reports that the presidency has started negotiations with Boko Haram. This comes a week after president Buhari told CNN's Christine Amanpour that his govt will negotiate with the terrorist sect for the release of Chibok girls if they are assured of the credibility of the leadership of the sect they will be negotiating with.

The Nation reports that some confidants of the presidency and leaders of the sect group are doing the negotiations.

Don’t appoint Amaechi minister, Wike tells Buhari

The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has asked President Muhammad Buhari not to appoint Rotimi Amaechi as minister if he wants his fight against corruption to be looked upon with credibility.
President Buhari revealed last week in an article published in the Washington Post that he would announce members of his cabinet in September.
Mr. Amaechi was among the top government dignitaries that accompanied Mr. Buhari to last week’s state visit to the United States.
In a statement on Sunday signed by Mr. Wike’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Opunabo Inko-Tariah, the governor, who described Mr. Buhari’s anti-corruption campaign as “selective” and “drawing a cocktail of reaction”, said it would be “dismissed as laughable” if Mr. Amaechi makes the ministerial list.
Mr. Wike claimed Mr Amaechi was the most corrupt government official and asked the president to probe the ex-governor to lend credibility to his fight against corruption.
“If Buhari is sincere in his fight against corruption, let him probe the Amaechi’s government and he will discover that there cannot be a government official that is more corrupt than Amaechi,” he said.
He blamed Mr. Amaechi for Rivers State’s fiscal woes saying his policies were reckless and dictatorial.
“From the genesis to revelation of his government, Amaechi’s fiscal recklessness and dictatorial policies and approaches are responsible for the financial woes of the state that should ordinarily be buoyant.
“A man like Amaechi must not be allowed to flaunt the fruits of his crime with impunity. He has to account for the monthly allocations he received in 8 years and the IGRs for the same period. He spirited so much out of the system with little or nothing to show for it.
“The appointment of Amaechi by Buhari will be an endorsement of corruption by Buhari,” he said.
The governor said if Mr. Amaechi was blameless, he wouldn’t be seeking protection from investigation.
“If there are no skeletons in his cupboard, why try to frustrate the Hon Justice Omereji’s commission of inquiry? This obviates the need for further evidence that his hands are dirty.   After all, he started and ended his reign with the late Justice Kayode Esho’s panel and the Prof Odinkalu’s commission of inquiry respectively -not to talk of that headed by Justice B A Georgewill.  ‘Do unto others, what you want others to do unto you’, our Lord Jesus admonished my brother Knight, Amaechi.”
Mr. Wike added that it is ironical for Mr. Amaechi, who he claimed orchestrated the closure of courts in the state during his tenure, to seek protection from the same judiciary he incapacitated.
“The attempt to stop the Hon Justice Omereji’s Commission of Inquiry from investigating his government is not only risible but shameful and highly provocative. It is ironical that the same man who sealed the judiciary for close to two years and turned lawyers into taxi drivers and artisans  will now have the gumption to approach the same courts he desecrated for justice.
“If his successor had followed his footsteps, which court would he have approached to seek redress?  How will he appear before those he almost turned into beggars?  As a result of his callous and insensitive actions, most lawyers had broken homes as they could not sustain their families. Some even lost their loved ones in hospitals for lack of money to buy needed drugs,” he said.

Prosecute Jonathan, Bayelsa APC tells Buhari

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Bayelsa State, Perekeme Kpodo, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to prosecute former President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience.
Mr. Kpodo, who made the call at a news conference in Yenagoa on Wednesday, said the former President, his wife and known associates, should be prosecuted for the alleged looting of resources of the country and other associated crimes.
Mr. Kpodo, who was the interim chairman of the New Peoples Democratic Party, said the acceptance of defectors to the APC by the Tiwei Orunimighe-led executive committee was an illegal action.
He said it was an action to provide cover for band of corrupt politicians and give protection against prosecution by Mr. Buhari.
He said the APC’s stance against corrupt associates of the administration of Mr. Jonathan was established as such the and must be prosecuted.
“As a decent state executive, we consider the attempt to make the APC a dumping ground unacceptable.
“APC in the state will not allow the party to become a dumping ground for desperate looters and thieves in need of protection from prosecution.
“We call on President Muhammadu Buhari to order a detailed investigation into the acts of fraud and embezzlement by these defectors and their associates.
“We support the moves by Buhari for the prosecution of former President Goodluck Jonathan, his wife, Patience Jonathan and his known associates for the looting and associated crimes committed against the state,” Mr. Kpodo said,
He urged potential defectors to obtain clearance at the ward through to the state level of the party.
He said defectors must show clear record of performance from the parent party before official presentation to the loyalists and progressive supporters of the APC.
Mr. Kpodo said the APC would soon release a timetable of events of the party to receive its teeming supporters, defectors and that the processes for primary election of the party

Nigerian Professor Produces Antivirt, Anti Viral Drug That Cures HIV AIDS In 2 Months

Nigerian Professor Produces Antivirt, An Anti Viral Drug For Treating HIV AIDS. Despite doubts in some quarters about the authenticity of his claims, ProfessorMaduike Ezeibe of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU), Abia State, has insisted that his recent therapy
for the dreaded HIV and AIDS is real and effective.
The discovery of the therapy, Ezeibe said, was a major scientific breakthrough in the search for a cure to the global pandemic.
He said after 19 years of hard work, he was able to discover the therapy and his research was eventually published in the British Journal of Medicine & Medical Research.
The Professor of Veterinary Medicine, who obtained his first degree in same discipline at the University of Nigeria Nsukka in 1986, Masters in Ruminant Medicine, and doctorate degree in Canine Medicine all in UNN, said he moved to MOUAU on leave of absence.
Speaking with Southern City News in his office, he said his research into the therapy known as ‘Antivirt’ (Anti-Viral Therapy), dated back to 1994 when he took the challenge to be part of the global solution to the HIV/AIDS scourge ravaging humanity.
Ezeibe said his work had been published by the American-based medical journal known as The Health.
He said he decided to publish his research work on the therapy so as to prove anyone who would doubt that a black man could develop HIV/AIDS cure, wrong.
He boasted that the experiment remained authentic and verifiable in any part of the world.
According to him, two essential minerals – aluminum silicate (kaolin) and magnesium silicate, used in the production of the therapy, have large deposits in Umuahia and parts of Abia State.
This, he said, would make the therapy cheaper and more affordable than the old anti-retroviral therapy.
He added that the therapy would take an average of two to three months to cure HIV/AIDS patient.

'Any APC member guilty of corruption will be prosecuted' - President affirms

He said this during an exclusive interview on Tuesday, July 21 with CNN's Christiane Amanpour, the cable channel's international correspondent.
President Muhammadu Buhari has affirmed that he will not cover up any act of corruption even amongst his party members, noting that any of his associate found guilty of corrupted will face the full wrath of the law.
He said this during an exclusive interview on Tuesday, July 21 with CNN's Christiane Amanpour, the cable channel's international correspondent.
“If any of my associates or party member is indicted of corruption, they cannot escape justice. There is not going to be any APC member or any close personality found guilty that would escape justice,” he said.
On the freedom of the Chibok girls, he said, “our main objective as a government is to secure the release of those girls safe and sound, back to their schools and rehabilitate them to go back to their normal lives. So, if we are convinced the girls would be delivered safe and sound, we will negotiate.”
In reaction to criticism against his administration, the President, who is currently in the United States on a four-day visit on President Barack Obama's invitation, said it is too early for people to berate his government.
“I think I can be held accountable for my promises in the next quarters I have ahead of me. I think it is too early for anybody to pass judment on my campaign promises.”
When asked if the Nigerian government would trade the missingChibok girls for the release of jailed Bboko Haram members, Buhari said, “ We have to be very careful about the credibility of various Boko Haram leaders coming out to claim that they can deliver the girls . We have to be very careful indeed and we are taking our time because we want to bring them back safe and sound to their parents.

No corrupt APC member will escape justice — Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday vowed to bring to justice any corrupt Nigerian, whether the offender is a member of his party, All Progressives Congress, or highly placed.

The president said this in an interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour.
Mr. Buhari said there would be no sacred cows in the fight against corruption, saying APC members who amassed wealth illegally, would not be spared.

“It is not the issue of party members. If you have stolen, no party member can escape justice,” the president said.

He dismissed claims that he has been too slow in his style of governance, saying he believed it was too early for anyone to judge his performance in office.

He said Nigerians should hold him to his campaign promises three years from now.

The president said his government was open to negotiating with Boko Haram if the credibility of those claiming to be their representatives can be affirmed.

He said one of the key priorities of his government is to secure the release Chibok School girls, abducted by Boko Haram militants in 2014, saying anything that would make that happen, would be welcomed.

“If we are convinced we can have the girls back, why not? We can negotiate. Our goal is to have the girls back. We will ask them (Boko Haram) what they want, and we can free the girls; return them to their school; unite them with their parents and rehabilitate them, so, they can live a normal life,” the president said.

Mr. Buhari said nothing will work until the country is secured. He said that Nigerians want the issue of kidnapping in the south and Boko Haram in the north to be addressed so that everybody will live a normal live wherever they are.

He emphasized the need to exercise caution over any proposal with Boko Haram, in view of the challenge of being able to authenticate claims by any the insurgent groups calling for talks with the government on the issue.

“We have to be careful about the credibility of various Boko Haram groups calling for talks with the government. We need to be careful that we are talking to the right group,” he argued.

Mr. Buhari expressed happiness for the support he has received so far from the United States government, saying he would be delighted if his host, President Barack Obama, could “change his mind” and visit Nigeria in his upcoming visit to Africa.

Mr. Buhari also said he believed African leaders who have abused their powers in office should be tried in Africa so long as that process will lead to justice.
